We had a fantastic stay at this luxury hotel. The location on the cliffs overlooking the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere of this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help, making us feel welcome and taken care of. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchenette and a small balcony where we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options and fast service. We also appreciated the convenience of amenities like free Wi-Fi and a safe in the room. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making our stay truly enjoyable.
We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Sea view is the major advantage
Hotel was built in 1999, and it's has not been renovated so far. You can imagine rooms with old furniture, however in good condition.

Free computer available. Was larger than studio booked with almost a separate bedroom.....almost because there was a separation wall missing.
The hotel location is on the cliff side in a cul-de-sac along with several other hotels......with no parking. The only place to park is on the street sharing the little space with all the other hotels. For those without a car there is bus service which we never used but a walk away. The location is several kilometers from Funchal and really with nothing to do in the area. No beach as it's on a cliff... With a great ocean view when it is clear. The building is outdated with older furniture in need uf updating and dleaning. The beds were hard as lying onrocks. We did survive with a convenient kitchenette for fixing breakfast but not really for cooking meals. Daily night and day with a barking dog next door that the staff said nothing could be done about.

Located on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic and not far from the airport, this hotel is an excellent base to get around the rest of the island. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds, nice views, and some have kitchenettes. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a pool, several sun lounge areas, and even access to the sea for a swim. This hotel also has a great restaurant with outdoor seating and delicious food.
One other aspect of the hotel was not up to par.

The hotel offered beautiful sea views and a peaceful location. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were outstanding in their helpfulness and courtesy.
The hotel lacked atmosphere, particularly during mealtimes. The hotel appeared slightly dated in decor.

Very nice and service-minded staff! Good breakfast with slight but enough variation from day to day. We never got to try the resturant at other hours, but, though it is not as decorated as others in the neighbourhood, we got no reason to doubt it being just as fine – and superbly located too. The free Internet connection is of great worth, for example when planning your own excursion, since there aren't many maps around. (We had one of Caniço saved from our 1st trip here.) The single computer is available 24/7, for 15 minutes a session or until anyone else needs it. (It has no printer but if you need one the receception is manned also 24/7.) That being fully OK during our low season stay, perhaps a 2nd computer will be needed later on.
Beds are really hard, pillows so soft one's head in effect rests on the mattress. Our personal treshold is on this point high, having slept well and smiling on bare rock more than once, but such cannot be said of ordinary customers and expectations. Kitchen utensils were OK to cook with, except for the occasional "convex" bottom of a pot or pan, the stove simple but managing. Lighting over the kitchen sink varied from day to in a peculiar way, but only that lamp, and there was already sufficient light. All in all, the hotel would gain greatly by just a few improvements: Softer mattresses (But hey, keep a couple of old ones for us!), harder pillows and a repaint of certain parts. Our stay was an all-through pleasure and we would be happy to return at any time again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impressive, especially the interior pool, which was always available for use. The hotel's location on Madeira was perfect, as it had easy access down to the rocky beach, which offered some aggressive landscapes and ocean views that were simply breathtaking. Additionally, the breakfast offered a good variety of options that were served quickly and efficiently.
Nothing not too like.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area close to the ocean, providing exceptional sea views. The swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip, but the highlight is swimming in the warm sea and seeing amazing fish. There are plenty of sun loungers for a day of relaxation.
The hotel could use some updating, as some areas feel worn down. The breakfast buffet was decent but could have been better.
